we've narrowed our wedding date down to october, november or december of this year. not exactly real narrow but it will really depend on WHERE we have this shindig. it's important that you know that i am a huge holiday person. i mean, our house is insane during halloween and christmas. for halloween there are spiderwebs hanging from the ceilings, to the chandeliers, over the paintings, and in front of the windows. the lightbulbs are switched out to black lights, blood drips from my oven and most of my furniture is covered in white sheets just like an old abandoned house should be. for christmas, all i need to say is that we have seven, yes, seven trees. does that give you an idea? so when we decided to set a date after over a year of engagement D and i thought that an elegant halloween theme would be cool or maybe a christmas theme. about 10 years ago i had a great idea to have a masquerade ball as a wedding theme. and clearly it was a great idea because the guy i was dating at the time, took that idea and used it when he got married 5 years ago. what a dinkus right?!
